“Introduction to SABRE” - SVS is designed for:

Individuals NEW to the travel industry (as owner or employee) desiring a basic computer training regimen in using the SABRE GDS for client air, auto rental, hotel and rail reservations.
Home based travel agents seeking to provide a higher level of customer service by offering a more complete reservations service for all modes of transportation.
Individuals looking to increase their opportunities for employment with a travel agency, travel whole- saler or as an airline reservationist.

Subjects Covered:

"Bargain Finder" fare search, FOX, PNR data change and delete, PNR mandatory fields, PNR optional fields, building a complete PNR, car bookings, changing segment status, classes of service, encode/ decode cities, airports and airlines, fare quote, fares, fare displays, flight availability, flight service infor- mation, hotel bookings, introduction to reducing/dividing PNRs, itinerary pricing, queues, rules, seat assignments, seat maps, sign-off, sign-on, storing a fare, ticketing. Structure: 20 lessons, 3 quizzes, 1 final exam, 150-page workbook.

Average Completion Time: 40 hours.

Time Given: 50 hours.

Tuition cost including workbook: $159.00 (plus $10.00 Shipping & Handling)

Enrollment: Complete Enrollment Form with credit card payment info and fax Enrollment Form to 713 268 2626 for processing.

Once student completes enrollment form and tuition payment is received and processed, the student workbook and start-up CD is priority mailed. The CD, when loaded on student’s computer, provides a Login, Password and desktop short cut to the sign-in process for the student to access the online train- ing module server. The system tracks the students time used and advises the student of training time remaining.

Payment Method: Full payment at time of enrollment. Cash, check or credit card.

Cancellation/Refund: Application for refund must be made within the first week of ordering. NO RE- FUND after the first week. A $35 Processing Fee will be deducted from all refunds.
